Semeru in alert condition !!! Again, this highest mountain in Java Island showing his activity. In the last 3 days, volcanic dust rain showering the sorrounding village. His last big eruption is in 1967. Since then the eruption still occured, but in smaller scale.Semeru, which also known as Mahameru, was located in East Java. It stands tall to the height of 3.676 metres above the sea level.
