In and Out at Liverpool FC

Liverpool has a new player as their goal keeper. It was Diego Cavalieri who was brought by Benitez from Brazilian club, Palmeiras, on Friday (11/7). Cavalieri signed a 4 years contract with Liverpool with a transfer fee 3.7 million Euro (3 million pound sterling).
This 25 years old goal keeper, was the third important player that Liverpool got in this transfer window, previously the Italian defender Andrea Dossena, and a Switzerland center back Phillipp Degn, signed the contract with Liverpool.
On the other side, Peter Crouch has agreed on personal clauses regarding his transfer from Liverpool to Portsmouth. If he passed the medical check up, he will officially join Portmouth next season. His last season with Liverpool was mostly spent on the bench, while his position was replaced by young Spanish star, Fernando Torres.
